A professional engineer and a university professor, from which years of divergence reformed business definition of convergence. After attending the School of Civil Engineering at Kasetsart University in Bangkok, Kuldej went to the United Kingdom in early 90’s and matriculated at The University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology where he achieved his master degree with distinction in construction management and building engineering. On graduation he was offered a place to pursue his doctorate in property and construction economics, became an industry specialist in the field. He had involved with some of the most prominent projects in Europe with Bovis (UK), MACE(UK) and remained to work in the UK for years.
Soon after his long spell Kuldej was plucked from academia to serve as consulting engineer for a number of private organizations, locally and internationally. Unlike most engineers who find their early and formative work in residential and other small scale projects, he was thrust immediately into the domain of state-owned consulting and design projects. Having already begun to accept independent projects he established his own design and consulting firm for large-scale planning and high-end building efforts in 2000. Kuldej is managing director and a major shareholder at JARKEN group of companies.
Kuldej has maintained a specific and unalterable attitude toward the design and construction of buildings from the moment he first entered construction and architecture. Although his later projects show a definite refinement from his earlier projects, Kuldej clearly authored both based on the same design concepts with admirable consistency and dedication, of the ever-changing fashion trends in modern architecture.
