Loren Aiton has been involved in the construction industry for over 30 years,
and a Licensed Architect for 25 years. He has performed in the capacity of
Designer, Project Manager, Project Architect, Construction Administrator,
Construction Program Manager, and LEED Accredited Professional, through all
phases of design and construction of new and remodeled facilities on both
Public Sector and Private Sector Projects.

Loren became involved in Sustainable Building in 2003 and a LEED Accredited
Professional in 2004. As one of the first LEED Accredited Professionals in
the Central San Joaquin Valley Loren has been a frequent speaker and educator
in introducing Green Building Practices, Sustainability and LEED throughout
the region. As a Charter Member of the USGBC Central California Chapter, and
Past President/Chair, he is involved regionally and nationally in continued
development of LEED including having served n the California committee for
the selection of LEED 2009 BD+C, ID+C, EBOM Regional Priority Credits. He is
currently serving as Central California Chapter committee chair for the LEED
v4 Regionalization program and as representative to the Pacific Regional

Loren is a USGBC Faculty member. USGBC Faculty are the official instructors
of USGBC's instructor-led workshops working with USGBC's education delivery
partners. As USGBC Faculty, Loren is authorized to teach the following
instructor-led workshops:
* LEED 101: Green Building Basics and LEED
* LEED 201: Core Concepts and Strategies
* BDC 251: Understanding the Building Design and Construction LEED Rating
* BDC 301: Implementing the Building Design and Construction LEED Rating
