Interior Designer, Lorraine Alexander Interior Design
Lorraine Alexander, accomplished and recognized interior design professional,
has over 20 years' experience in the field of design and color. With a
primary focus on remodeling and restoration, she seamlessly manages and
coordinates material selections and specifications for large residential
projects. Additional experience includes working with luxury projects.
Her work focuses on combining durable eco-friendly materials, fine
craftsmanship, and timeless design-style, which lessens the impact on
landfills. Lorraine partners with vendors, architects, contractors and
tradesmen that also recognize these local and global environmental
She is dedicated to inform and contribute to the development
of future leaders of the green building movement and to promote sustainable
building practices that create healthy, safe, energy efficient environments
for current and future generations. Lorraine resides in Northern
California and British Columbia.
Her work non-profit work with the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC)
includes the following appointments:
April 2013 - 2014 - Pacific Region Chair, the Pacific Region in one of eight
regions across the United States. The Pacific Region spans San Diego to
Washington including Hawaii and Alaska.
January 2013 - 2014 - Advisor to the Redwood Empire Chapter Board of
January 2012 - Chairman of the Board, U.S. Green Building Council's Redwood
Empire Chapter. The Chapter's region extends along the Northern California
coast north of San Francisco to theOregon border, and spans seven counties
including Sonoma, Napa, Marin, Lake, Mendocino, Humboldt and Del Norte.
April 2011 - 2013 Vice-Chair for the Pacific Region (PRC). The U.S. Green
Building Council's Pacific Region spans San Diego to Washington and includes
Hawaii and Alaska.
January 2011 - 2013 Regional Representative for the Pacific Region, U.S.
Building Council Chapter Leaders interface and collaborate to enhance growth
in the Pacific Region. The Pacific Region is one of eight regions designated
by the U.S. Green Building Council.
2012 - 2014 Chair for the Santa Rosa Junior College Interior Design Advisory Committee
