Marc graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelors of Architecture degree and is a licensed architect in the State of California. Marc has more than 27 years of experience in the building industry. He has worked in architectural design firms, handling planning, design, and construction administration tasks for a wide variety of public and private sector projects. He has also worked as a corporate architect and director of facilities for a large commercial financial services company that was based in Southern California. For the most recent half of his career, Marc has been focused on sustainable design and has worked for CTG and Cadmus helping to build and manage their sustainable design and LEED consulting groups. In the LEED world, he has been involved in more than 50 projects that have either been certified, are in the process of seeking certification or have been exploring LEED for potential certification.
Marc is no stranger to USGBC and GBCI. While at CTG, he was in charge of managing their LEED Review program and was one of the key staff involved in the LEED-NC v2.2 development; he worked with the core committee to manage and respond to public comment and was also one of the contributing authors for the LEED-NC v2.2 and LEED-CI v2.0 Reference Guides. Marc has also consulted with USGBC to assist with LEED v3 forms development and is a past LEED Faculty member. Most recently, he has been engaged as the chairman of the LEED Pilot Credit Working Group.
