Marge is a member of the Energy Center’s leadership team. Her responsibilities include strategic planning, financial management, governance, and business development. Marge has significant competence and experience developing education strategies that accelerate market transformation. She founded the Energy Center’s training practice, which facilitates the development of advanced, sustainable energy design skills in architects, engineers and building professionals. She is a recognized leader in the integration of education and training into energy efficiency and behavior change programs. Marge’s expertise includes working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders on complex projects. She has a strong background in effective adult learning methodology, with special emphasis on learner outcome development, multiple intelligence theory and impact evaluation for training. She has a rich background in volunteer leadership and governance for various mission-driven organizations, including the US Green Building Council (Board of Directors), New Buildings Institute (Board of Directors), Meeting Professionals International (Board of Directors), Project Meeting Architecture (Steering Committee Chair), and the American Society of Training & Development (Chapter Board of Directors).
