Margo drives USGBC’s efforts to cultivate the leadership capabilities of individuals and organizations working to advance sustainability. This includes working with partners to design executive education, as well as customized sustainability leadership content for a variety of audiences. Margo also serves as a Teaching Fellow for a sustainability leadership course at Harvard University's Extension School.
Prior to this position, Margo worked with USGBC's grassroots chapter leaders across the country. Prior to her work at USGBC, Margo lived in Taipei, Taiwan, working as a manager at Hess Educational Organization where she learned the intricacies of intercultural management, taught English to non-native speakers and studied Mandarin Chinese. Prior to that, she served as the Office Manager at the event-driven New Orleans Cultural Center.
Margo's undergraduate degree in organizational psychology, anthropology and business, is from Tulane University in New Orleans and she received her MBA in Organizational Sustainability from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
