Ms. Kamel is a Senior Electrical Engineer at Dar Al-Handasah Consultants primary Consultancy Firm within the Middle East, Africa and Asia and a member of the US. Green Building Council since 2007), with a successful career record, and extensive design and group leadership capabilities.
With the Firm Since 1999, Ms. Kamel has contributed to the various design aspects of a wide range of projects, encompassing residential, commercial, educational and tourist complexes; buildings; expressways; airports and airport facilities and other developments, out of which many where anticipating LEED certification and are registered with the USGBC.
Ms. Kamel has developed a comprehensive understanding, supported by certification (USGBC, LEED AP BD+C) of Sustainable and green integrated design and construction approaches, during the design and construction phases of many sustainable projects undertaken by the firm.
Ms. Kamel is also an active member of the Dar Sustainable Initiative; the Firm’s committee overlooking all sustainability non-project aspects including the Dar staff LEED education coordination and instruction as part of the “Education Provider” partnership with the USGBC.
Ms. Kamel is a USGBC Faculty member. USGBC Faculty are the official instructors of USGBC's instructor-led workshops working with USGBC's education delivery partners. As USGBC Faculty, Ms. Kamel is authorized to teach the following instructor-led workshops:
