Having earned more than two decades of experience in his field, Matthew Poe serves as principal-in-charge with Ayers Saint Gross Architects and Planners (ASG Architects). He has engaged with a number of complex institutional and civic projects, including the Pratt Street Redevelopment Project, which encompassed a redesign of the Baltimore downtown area. Matthew Poe works collaboratively with government agencies and clients in ensuring that the planning and construction stages proceed as planned and meet stringent regulatory requirements.
Matt Poe’s full range of ASG Architects responsibilities include mentoring and managing a team of 130 professionals spanning offices in Baltimore, Washington, DC, and Tempe, Arizona. His current duties leverage 12 years of experience as a partner with Moore Poe Architects, based in Arlington, Virginia. His team undertook numerous residential and institutional projects for clients such as St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church and Day School and the Federal Reserve Board. Matt Poe achieved a special citation from the Washington Chapter of the American Institute of Architects for his work on a Fulton House of Hope project. Having earned Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification in 2007, Matthew Poe most recently completed a license in Building Design and Construction.
