Matthew Poe

Having earned more than two decades of experience in his field, Matthew Poe
serves as principal-in-charge with Ideate Designs. He has engaged with a
number of complex institutional and civic projects, along the eastern
seaboard. Matthew Poe works collaboratively with government agencies and clients in ensuring that the planning and construction stages proceed as planned and meet stringent
regulatory requirements.
Matt Poe’s full range of responsibilities include mentoring and managing
the design and production team, and the complete management of the office.
His current duties leverage 8 years of experience at Ayers Saint Gross, 8
years at Hartman Cox Architects, and 12 years of experience as a partner with
Moore Poe Architects, based in Arlington, Virginia. His team undertook
numerous residential and institutional projects for clients such as St.
Patrick’s Episcopal Church and Day School and the Federal Reserve Board.
Matt Poe achieved a special citation from the Washington Chapter of the
American Institute of Architects for his work on a Fulton House of Hope
project. Having earned Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)
certification in 2007, Matthew Poe most recently completed a license in
Building Design and Construction.
