specializes in LEED for Homes project execution and verification. Megan and
the team at Active Energies provide Green Rater, Energy Rater, and Provider
QAD services for projects throughout the world. With extensive experience and

Megan graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor's
Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Her studies included coursework at the
School of Photovoltaic and Renewable Energy Engineering at the
University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia - the first university to
offer undergraduate studies in the fields of photovoltaics and solar energy.
Within the community, Megan holds positions on the Board of Directors of Holy
Cross Energy, Board of Directors of Walking Mountains, the Eagle County
EcoBuild Steering Committee, and the Town of Vail's Sustainable Building
Initiatives Committee. In addition to her board involvement, Megan currently
serves as an adjunct faculty member at Colorado Mountain College in Edwards,
teaching classes on energy efficiency and sustainability.
