Megan Gonzales

Bryn Mawr, PA

As registered Landscape Architect and a LEED AP, Megan brings design &
community-based expertise for sustainability strategies to the LEED Support
Team. As a designer, she is interested in low impact development
strategies, human behavior and planting design. She has designed, implemented and taught practical strategies for communities to manage storm water runoff, storm water basins, habitat protection and naturalization projects. As a landscape architect, Megan worked in a small firm outside of Boston on several innovative designs including multiple LEED projects. Megan earned her Masters of Landscape Architecture at the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Environmental Horticulture from the University of New Hampshire. She developed a sense of collective responsibility for the earth at an early age
and has focused her professional and individual goals to improve the quality
of life on this planet. In addition to enjoying her work, Megan enjoys
growing plants, spending time outdoors, parenting, reading, cooking and
singing.
