Hello world

I have been sought after as a green building expert since the late 90s, when
I started one of the country’s first sustainability programs, and founded
the USGBC Chicago Chapter. My background in architecture, engineering,
and Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences, which offers me a unique
perspective and understanding of complex systems, and the human health
impacts of green design.

In 2013 I started The Green Facilitator,a sustainability consulting firm,
and I am also a partner in the professional development firm, Prairie Lab.
Prior to starting these ventures, I spent most of my career as the director
of sustainability for large architecture/engineering firms.

In 2011 the Green Building Certification Institute named me to the inaugural
class of LEED Fellows, reflecting my longstanding contributions to green
design. I received the first USGBC Illlinois Chapter Leader Award, and
continue to volunteer at USGBC as the Chair of Indoor Environmental Quality
Technical Advisory Group, and I also serve as a LEEDuser Expert for several
EQ credits.

I have managed sustainability implementation on dozens of projects, ranging
in scope from small furniture showrooms to 1 million s.f. hospitals. In
addition to LEED accreditation, I am credentialed as an Envison® green
infrastructure rating system Sustainability Professional, I am a Living
Building Challenge Ambassador, and a member of the Climate Reality Leadership

I pride myself as a consensus building, collaboration, and strategic
