Myer’s current work as an associate and project architect at Weber Thompson is primarily in urban mid-rise, mixed-use, multifamily projects with ambitious environmental goals. He has been active in the local community, serving on the Southwest Seattle Design Review Board since 2009. Nationally, he has been actively engaged with the US Green Building Council as a member of the Greenbuild Program Working Group and as a volunteer with Historic Green Spring Greening, a grassroots rebuilding effort in New Orleans with the Emerging Professionals. In recent years he has co-instructed architecture studios at the University of Washington’s College of Built Environments. He was named the AIA Seattle Young Architect 2011. Myer received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree with Philosophy citation at the University of Maryland in 2002, and a Master in Architecture degree at the University of Washington in 2005.
