Nate formerly supported the ongoing development of the U.S. Green Building Council’s National Green Schools Campaign. Through partnerships with national education organizations, schools, and local, state and federal governments, Nate educated elected officials and national advocates about the benefits of green educational facilities for students, teachers, and communities. In particular, Nate worked closely with a network of leading mayors, state legislators, and representatives on Capitol Hill to develop resources and promote programs that encourage the vision of green schools for all within this generation.
Nate previously taught history and political science at Winchester College in the United Kingdom. He holds a bachelor’s degree in urban history from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was also captain of the heavyweight rowing team.
