As Co-director of Perkins+Will’s firmwide Sustainable Design Initiative (SDI), Paula Vaughan assures that sustainable ideas are an integral part of the firm’s projects and practices. She coordinates sustainability efforts across the international firm's offices, teaches sustainable design workshops and speaks frequently on sustainable construction, business practices and visioning.
As Co-director of Perkins+Will’s firmwide Sustainable Design Initiative (SDI), Paula McEvoy assures that sustainable ideas are an integral part of the firm’s projects and practices. Key aspects of her role include setting corporate vision and goals and then developing a path to meet those commitments. She was instrumental in developing the Perkins+Will Sustainability Strategic Plans, which changed the firm’s operations, outlined a strategic path for transforming the firm into the leading sustainable design firm and set a common language and direction for firmwide education and growth. A Registered Architect and LEED® Fellow, Paula has exemplary, broad-based experience and demonstrates an involved, hands-on attitude in all phases of the design and construction process. Ms. McEvoy is a member of The American Institute of Architects and serves on the AIA National Committee on the Environment (COTE) and the Materials Knowledge Group. In addition, she is USGBC LEED Faculty and was 2012 Chair of the Board of USGBC Georgia Chapter.
