Peggy comes to USGBC with many years of practice as an architect, managing her own firm in Waterloo, Ontario and working in South Carolina for the past 16 years, most recently for McMillan Pazdan Smith. Her work included higher education projects such as a new business school for Lynchburg College in Virginia and was a driving force behind the focus on environmentally responsible design and practice at McMillan, managing LEED administration and staff LEED training, consulting on energy-related construction detailing and writing specifications for Greenville and Charleston office projects.
Her education includes a Baccalauréat en Architecture from l'Université de Montréal, Canada. She has been a LEED AP since 2003 and added LEED AP BD+C in 2009. Within the LEED Support team, Peggy helps project teams work through the most challenging issues, and regularly does LEED Support outreach in her home state of South Carolina.
