Mr. Choquette is a Principal and Director of Design at Epsten Group
in Atlanta, Georgia, overseeing the company's Sustainable Design, LEED
Consulting, Energy Modeling, and Envelope Consulting services. He has over 13
years of experience in the design industry and on LEED projects, including
overseeing the certification of the GSA at Echelon Park in Jackson,
Mississippi (LEED-NC 2.2 Certified), 440 South Church Street in Charlotte,
North Carolina (LEED-CS 2.0 Gold), Armed Forces Readiness Center in
Montgomery, Alabama (LEED-NC 2.2 Gold), and the Plumrose USA Slicing Facility
in Council Bluffs, Iowa (LEED-NC 2009 Silver), which was named 2013
Sustainable Food Plant of the Year by Food Engineering. He has spoken on
sustainable design and construction topics at events throughout the Southeast
region including the EPA's 2012 Sustainability and Southern Historic
Preservation Conference, the 2013 AIA North Carolina and AIA Georgia Design
Conferences, the 2014 USGBC Greenbuild Conference, and the 2015 AIA National
Convention. Currently, he is working as the designer and Project Manager on
the Grant Park Cyclorama Renovation and Savanna Exhibit Expansion for Zoo
Atlanta, which includes renovation of the historic Grant Park Cyclorama
building and a new Elephant Barn, both of which are pursuing LEED Silver
certification.

Pete believes in helping to build a healthier, more just, and more prosperous
world by leveraging the time, money, and energy that go into constructing and
maintaining buildings intelligently to help better balance people, the
planet, and the profitability of those projects.
