Sandra is designated as an SRA Member (Residential Specialist) of the Appraisal Institute. She is the owner of Adomatis Appraisal Service in Punta Gorda, FL. Her accomplishments include development of residential green appraisal courses and seminars for the Appraisal Institute. The green educational offerings include “Case Studies in Appraising Green Residential Buildings”, “Residential Green Description Made Easy”, and “Residential and Commercial Valuation of Solar PV”. Her active involvement in education with the Appraisal Institute gained her the esteemed education award in 2012, the Dr. William N. Kinnard Award, presented by the Education Trust.
She is an approved classroom instructor for the Appraisal Institute and a Certified Distance Education Instructor™ - International Distance Education Certification Center – (IDECC). You will find two articles she authored on green valuation published in the Appraisal Journal. Her involvement in green appraisals gave her the background to spearhead the Appraisal Institute’s “Residential Green and Energy Efficient Addendum” widely used nationally by appraisers, builders, agents, homeowners, and retrofit contractors. Sandra is a national speaker on valuing high-performance houses speaking at national conferences, local Realtor Associations, Homebuilders Associations, and Building Alliance Conference.
