Stefan is in charge of all technical and design aspects on a range of large commercial projects in Atkins Architecture Studio in Hong Kong. He has successfully completed a number of super-tall mixed-use towers, major infrastructure projects, as well as award-winning high-profile head quarter office buildings across China and Southeast Asia.
As one of the regional leaders of Atkins Global Carbon-Critical Buildings Network he is applying Atkins vast expertise in low-carbon design into all of his projects. He is specialized in environmental analysis and all aspects of building envelope design. His particular interest is the application of passive design features throughout the design process with the aim to achieve high-performing energy efficient façade designs.
He has applied his expertise on a number of LEED-certified buildings and has written papers about energy-efficient façade design and the overall operational carbon emissions of buildings.
He is currently guest lecturer at the University of Hong Kong, Chinese University of Hong Kong and Shenzhen University. Prior to Atkins, Stefan held senior design positions for over 14 years in international design firms such as RMJM and Foster and Partners in London.
