Susan Jerdonek joined USGBC in April of 2011. In her role, Susan focuses on resource innovation and philanthropic programs, such as Project Haiti: Orphanage & Children's Center and grants received by the organization.
Susan previously facilitated the LEED Manufacturing User Group, a dedicated group of industry professionals from the manufacturing sector working to create more opportunities for greener, healthier and more efficient manufacturing facilities.
Prior to joining USGBC, Susan worked at the American Society of Civil Engineers, supporting their Foundation's development efforts. Susan received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Mary Washington and Masters Certificate in Professional Fundraising from Boston University. She is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and is active in her local chapter. Susan enjoys engaging the next generation of philanthropists through her volunteer work. She is also an active supporter, personal fundraiser, and volunteer for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
