Cooper Carry Offices at 191 Peachtree St
LEED Platinum 2010
Choosing a walkable and bikable location close to mass transit, while creating a new, healthy, and light-filled workplace environment, was the right decision for the well-being of the COOPER CARRY family.
In the fall of 2009, after having spent the previous 25 years in a low-rise suburban office building in the Buckhead Area of Atlanta, COOPER CARRY, a national design firm offering architecture, planning, landscape architecture, interior design, and environmental graphic design services, made the move downtown. The new Atlanta office space, in a multi-tenant building designed by Johnson-Burgee, consists of 50,400 gross square feet on the 23rd and 24th floors of the 50-story 191 Peachtree Tower. The office is designed for 225 employees.
The firm's desire to "practice what we preach" relative to our beliefs about sustainable place-making led to the decision to relocate to the established downtown office tower so that we could take advantage of Atlanta's urban core offerings. Sustainable Communities has been a long held core value for COOPER CARRY. Choosing a walkable and bikable location close to mass transit, while creating a new, healthy, and light-filled workplace environment, was the right decision for the well-being of the COOPER CARRY family.
