Disashop is a Spanish multinational company distributing prepaid products, such as national and international mobile top-ups, SIM cards, international calling cards, electronic means of payment, bill payment, and insurance.

Disashop has a sales network of 20,000 points in six countries: Spain, Dominican Republic, Peru, United States, Colombia and Ecuador.

This project is a strategic investment that will result in an improvement of working conditions of employees and the service that Disashop offers to his clients. It is intended to provide a corporate building with the best image for suppliers and customers and to help to consolidate its international expansion.

About the LEED project

The Disashop headquarters building in Oleiros, A Coruña, has 81,698 square feet (7,590 square meters) built on an exclusive plot of 28,277 square feet (2,627 square meters). Currently more than 100 professionals work in the telecommunications sector. The building was designed with ecodesign strategies in mind to help improve the environmental aspects of the project and maintain a healthy and comfortable indoor environment for users. The overall aesthetics of the building has an industrial aesthetic with elements of concrete, exposed installations and palette of gray, white and black colors.

The building consists of three floors above ground and two underground floors for parking. The building has an open space floor plan to promote communication between departments and improve alignment in commercial and general objectives. Offices and multipurpose rooms are integrated into the set with large glazed surfaces that allow visual continuity within the plant and, in conjunction with exterior carpentry, outward. The second floor of the building has a spacious dining area and more than 12,917 square feet (1,200 square meters) of terraces that allow workers to rest.

Spaces have thermal controls that can regulate both the influence of their orientation as its actual characteristics of occupation. Similarly they have air quality sensors that can adjust the flow of ventilation to the occupation of each zone. The heating and air conditioning equipment is highly efficient by providing adequate controls to maintain comfort conditions in each of the areas of the building, taking into account its use and occupation. The solutions adopted in facilities take into account conditions of comfort, efficiency, durability and low maintenance. In that sense we opt for a geothermal system as an energy source of the HVAC system with a mixed delivery system using radiant heat - refreshing floor and induction diffusers.
