EA Prerequisite 2: Minimum Energy Performance - Table 1.4 ASHRAE 90.1 Appendix G Energy Modeling Inputs and Quality Control Checklists

The Revised Section 1.4 spreadsheet input sheets are intended to assist energy modelers in developing the ASHRAE 90.1 Appendix G building energy models. The inputs include specific information about the Baseline and Proposed Case ASHRAE 90.1-2007 Appendix G modeling requirements, and provide the energy modeler with input quality control checks for the energy modeling inputs. These sheets provide the greatest value to the project team if they are completed in advance of the energy model, are reviewed by the architect(s) and engineer(s) to confirm that the proposed case inputs are consistent with the actual building design, and then are used as a tool to complete the energy model inputs. Prior to LEED submission, the energy modeler should confirm that the energy model inputs listed are consistent with those modeled, and provide quality control (QC) to confirm that the outputs are reasonable based on the energy inputs listed.
