Architect, EAG + Partners

Dear All,
I am an architect. And lately we did sustianable Headquarter of Ministry of Education in Baku. But it's still undercosntruction. Can we get certificate for it. or how it works?

LEED Fellow, Green Building Specialist, USGBC Customer Service

Hi Elchin (and Rajib), it's excellent to hear that you're wrapping up construction for the Headquarter of Ministry of Education in Baku project and considering LEED. Please be aware that LEED certification can be challenging for project teams that add LEED towards the end of the project, as LEED was designed to be used as a tool beginning in the pre design and/or schematic design phase.

That said, to learn more about LEED, please visit (,( and ( Your team will want to verify that all Minimum Program Requirements and Prerequisites will be met, along with enough points to achieve at least a 'Certified' level of certification before registering.

Your project team has up to two years after your project is substantially completed (the date on which your building receives a certificate of occupancy or similar official indication that it is fit and ready for use), to submit for construction phase review (either the preliminary standard review or preliminary construction review). These types of review options are explained in the LEED Certification Guide linked above.

Commissionig Authority , TEST JG COMMISSIONING

I work as a Commissioning Authority on a engineering group based in Spain. The design company of my group is member of USBGC, however my company (Commissioning and Facility Manager consultancy) it is not. Both companies are different companies (with different legal identity). I would ask how much is the cost to become a member of the USBGC, which kind of membership and which are the difference between them.
Thanks in advance

I have a paid USGBC Member Organization status "Luna Architecture, LLC" . I have looked at purchasing the LEED for Homes pdf on-line version. What should the online reference manual LEED for Homes cost as a member organization? The online store lists my price as $219.00 but next to that price it says that if I were a member (which I am) the reference guide would cost $50.00 less. Please let me know if $219.00 is my member cost.
Sincere Thanks,
