USGBC Arizona strives to engage, educate and encourage the Arizona community to choose to live in and support the advancement of a sustainable, environmentally responsible and economically prosperous built environment. It accomplishes this by:

  • Communicating and engaging the community in opportunities that develop and expand their collective knowledge and experience though its LEED certification recognition, outreach, and networking with like-minded organizations to form partnerships
  • Creating a culture to provide resources that instill innovation, passion, challenge and meaning through events, trainings, conferences, and supporting like-minded organizations’ environmentally responsible and sustainable education initiatives

USGBC Arizona is comprised of a board, several committees and a regional branch. The Sonoran Branch, its Governing Council and its diverse membership of professionals are actively working to promote green building and to help create more sustainable communities in southern Arizona.
