At USGBC Central Plains, we represent the public, private, nonprofit, education and health care sectors, as well as green product manufacturers and service providers.

USGBC Central Plains includes Kansas and part of western Missouri. We are architects, planners, interior designers, engineers, landscape architects, developers, and many other sustainability professionals committed to a more sustainable built environment.

Together, we envision a greener region that celebrates the culture, history and environment of our spaces, inside and out, and people that design, build and use them. We value an integrated approach to decision making to take advantage of the many disciplines our members bring to the table.

USGBC Central Plains offers official LEED workshops and is actively engaged with the City Energy Project. We also create customized sustainability and green building training for our markets, taught by field experts. Our members are engaged in nearly every major green initiative in the region, bringing not only their professional career experience, but USGBC resources and best management practices in sustainability in the built environment to all aspects of the design / build / manage cycle.
