The mission of USGBC Georgia is to transform the way buildings and communities are designed, built and operated, enabling an environmentally and socially responsible, healthy, and prosperous environment that improves the quality of life.

Our vision is the creation of a high performance and healthy Georgia. Through this approach, we can address a multitude of sustainable topics in schools, homes, neighborhoods or existing buildings, all joined by the "High Performance Healthy" tagline — High Performance Healthy Schools.

USGBC Georgia operates branches in Athens, Atlanta, Augusta, Central Georgia (Macon area) and Savannah. Each branch has a leadership group (BLG) elected from the region's membership; and each branch sends representation to the USGBC Georgia Market Leadership Advisory Board.

Branches provide localized opportunities for Georgia residents to connect with others in their community. The leaders and volunteers in each branch are critical to our statewide organization's success.
