USGBC Mississippi is a nonprofit, volunteer organization formed in 2006 to increase awareness of evolving principles of sustainability and green building practices, technologies, policies and standards. It's comprised of three branches: North, Central, and South.

USGBC Mississippi membership is open to all who share our goal of a more environmentally, economically, and socially responsible Mississippi that values and preserves our natural resources for future generations. In addition to supporting local programs and initiatives, our membership allows any individual to attend activities and educational programs at a discount, and participate in leadership.

We celebrate market transformation in Mississippi with more than 800 registered LEED building projects, 40 national member companies, and over 350 LEED Accredited Professionals. Together we will achieve our mission to promote and champion design and building practices that sustain health, resources, and prosperity in Mississippi.
