The January event celebrates extraordinary projects and people in Tennessee.

Join USGBC Tennessee for its annual IMPACT Conference and Awards Program on Jan. 30, 2020, at the Wellspire Center in the LEED-certified Gulch neighborhood of Nashville, Tennessee. This high-profile event recognizes statewide innovation and leadership in green building, and provides a platform to celebrate the extraordinary projects and people who are contributing to a more sustainable community in Tennessee.

The IMPACT Conference is expected to draw attendees from the building design, construction and sustainability fields for a full day of GBCI-approved education sessions highlighting sustainability leadership in Tennessee’s public and private sectors and advances in green building design through the LEED rating system. The keynote presentation will be delivered by Christi Branscom, Commissioner of the Department of General Services for the State of Tennessee.

The Tennessee Leadership Awards program, which will take place during a luncheon at the conference, celebrates local LEED projects and green building leaders, including the winners of our 2020 Leadership Awards. These awards recognize building owners and project teams for their extra effort to accomplish LEED certification.

Applications for the 2020 Leadership Awards will be accepted until Friday, Nov. 15 at 7 pm CT. See the winners of our 2018 Leadership Awards.

Our awards luncheon will also recognize the participants of our 2020 USGBC Tennessee IMPACT Benchmarking Challenge. The 10 participating buildings in this annual challenge are using the Arc platform to track improvements to their energy, water and waste use between July 31 and December 31.

Tickets to this event include access to all education sessions, the keynote presentation and the awards luncheon, as well as the opportunity to network with sustainability professionals from across Tennessee. An early bird rate of $80 is available to USGBC local community members until Dec. 6, after which the price increases to $100. Students and emerging professionals may attend for $65.
