At Greenbuild 2019, attend a LEED Green Associate workshop and sit for the exam.

Are you ready to demonstrate your general knowledge of green building practices and your ability to support others working on LEED projects? The LEED Green Associate is a foundational credential signifying core competency in green building design, construction and operations. With the increase in green jobs, employers are seeking staff qualified in up-to-date sustainability practices.

Come to Greenbuild Atlanta, and leave with your LEED Green Associate credential. USGBC offers Greenbuild attendees the opportunity to take an all-inclusive, pre-conference workshop on the credential, at the end of which you may sit for the exam.

With this workshop, you will have access to

  • Advance study resources, including video and reading material.
  • An on-site workshop at Greenbuild featuring testing tips, group practice and review activities.
  • The exam itself, at a nearby testing center that afternoon—for same-day results.

Please note: You must register for the workshop before October 29, since attendees need adequate time to access the pre-workshop course content and study on their own, before attending the in-person workshop.

LEED Green Associate Bootcamp

Tuesday, Nov. 19, 8:30 a.m.– 4:30 p.m.

Cost for full day workshop: $500 (advance)

Led by USGBC Faculty member Annette Stelmack, this full-day workshop is an active, blended learning experience. You will start the studying on your own before you arrive, through online videos and reading materials. During the workshop, you will participate in an interactive review of exam materials that you have already studied, plus group activities in the morning. You’ll be registered to take the exam in the afternoon. Workshop registration includes access to pre-work study materials and the exam fee. Success at passing the exam is based on completing the pre-work and self-study prior to attending the onsite workshop. Arrangements and transportation will be made to take the exam on the day of the workshop.

By the end of the workshop, you will be able to

  • Define the LEED rating system and identify terms, phrases and acronyms.
  • Describe LEED credit categories, prerequisites and credit requirements.
  • Recognize strategies for passing the exam.
  • Summarize the LEED credential maintenance program.

Workshop attendees will also be eligible for a discount on the Study Bundle: LEED Green Associate Exam Preparation Guide, LEED v4 Edition and LEED Core Concepts Guide materials. Instructions for getting the promo code will be included in the pre-workshop study materials.
