Join us for an "Ask the Experts" session on Oct. 1 about Energy and Atmosphere.

The latest version of LEED, LEED v4.1, is the next-generation standard for green building design, construction, operations and performance.

The Energy and Atmosphere credit category in LEED v4.1 for Building Design and Construction has seen significant changes that raise the bar on energy efficiency and sustainability. The updated energy performance benchmark features metrics that now account for both energy efficiency and the corresponding reduction in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and changes to the renewable energy credit further strengthen buildings' connection to clean energy options and reward choices that lower GHG emissions.

To help answer your questions, we're hosting a live, online "Ask the Experts" session focused on energy, where you will be able to connect directly with USGBC and GBCI subject experts. In this live webinar, our energy experts will present a background of changes to the credits, including the ASHRAE 90.1 2016 reference standard for energy performance.

Register for the webinar: Oct. 1, 2019 at 8 a.m. EST or 1 p.m. EST

Get started by watching the overview session and reviewing the EA Prerequisite: Minimum Energy Performance Prerequisite and Credit language in the LEED v4.1 BD+C Guide

Then, attend the live session to learn more about these credits in LEED v4.1 and ask your questions. This event will be registered for 1 GBCI CE hour (LEED-specific: BD+C).
