Connect with USGBC leaders along this nine-city tour.

The springtime blooms have come and gone, but USGBC is gearing up for a busy summer in the South Atlantic and South Central regions. I’ll be hitting the road with our President and CEO, Mahesh Ramanujam, for a whirlwind tour of nine Southern cities, featuring LEED v4.1 and the inaugural Greenerbuilder Austin in June and July.

While on the road, we want to connect with you—the thousands of individuals in the region who have led in green buildings and sustainable communities over the last 25 years. It is because of your leadership that

  • 23,856 projects totaling 3.55 billion square feet have registered and certified through LEED.
  • Texas, Virginia and Maryland are among USGBC’s Top 10 States for LEED.
  • North Carolina and West Virginia were both featured for their significant strides in green building and LEED outside of the Top 10.
  • Washington, D.C., leads the pack as the first city in the world to be LEED-certified and has the highest amount of LEED square feet per capita in the world.

We invite you to join us when we come to your town. Sit down with our CEO to discuss USGBC’s vision and strategy for the next 25 years at one of the Executive Breakfasts. Dive into the evolution of LEED with our technical staff—the individuals working to make LEED v4.1 bigger, stronger and bolder.

Along the way, we will also be celebrating some of the 23,865 LEED projects, and meeting with members and leaders in each market. You won’t want to miss out on this unprecedented opportunity to connect directly with Mahesh and our technical core when we are in your town.

We look forward to seeing you on the road!
