In early October, more than 1,200 industry professionals and experts will gather in Los Angeles to explore the current and future state of net zero practices and technology. NZ19, the world’s largest conference dedicated to net zero, is back for a sixth year and will feature prominent voices such as Ed Mazria and Amanda Sturgeon.
With more than 100 exhibitors and dozens of education sessions eligible for GBCI, AIA, and LFA continuing education credits, this conference draws attendees from across the United States and around the globe.
This year, USGBC’s Emma Hughes will join with Entegrity Partner’s Chris Ladner to present a session on LEED Zero criteria, insights and examples, looking at carbon, energy, water, and waste. Combining information from the technical development process with real-world applications, this session will explore opportunities and challenges for pursuing net zero.
Additionally, the USGBC Los Angeles chapter will showcase the work of their Net Zero Accelerator startups, and Disney will share insights into their work with the TRUE Zero Waste certification program.
