It’s hard to believe that the summer is coming to an end and students are returning to campus to start the 2018–2019 academic year. At USGBC, we have been busy developing new curricular resources and testing out education concepts that will better prepare students for 21st century careers in sustainability.
To support our higher education colleagues, we have published two new postsecondary curricular toolkits that are free to access:
Read “Green jobs demystified: Our new curriculum toolkit,” featuring Anna Balfanz, a senior majoring in environmental science at the University of Pennsylvania and co-creator of the toolkit, for her perspective on why this resource was important to build.
These toolkits add to a suite of resources that we continue to grow, based on feedback and requested topics.
We have also published two free LEED Lab case studies featuring the University of California, Merced, and the University of California, Santa Barbara, which provide examples of how this project-based learning course could be implemented at institutions across the globe.
