Seven new LEED Interpretations were published (10450–10456). LEED Interpretation 10455 allows ANSI/NSC 373: Sustainable Production of Natural Dimension Stone to contribute toward Option 1 of the MR Credit Building Product Disclosure and Optimization—Sourcing of Raw Materials. LEED Interpretation 10456 allows projects that earn the Passive House US (PHIUS) label to earn 20 points in LEED v4 BD+C: Homes EA Credit Annual Energy Use, for its equivalency to the HERS Index.

The “ Water Use Reduction Additional Guidance” document and existing LEED Interpretations 10276, 1551, 10212, 10211, 10284, 10012 and 1576 were updated to reflect new guidance on applying seawater or municipal wastewater to LEED 2009 Water Efficiency credits.

Seventeen corrections were published for LEED v4 (100002112–100002128). The Rating System Selection Guidance was updated to allow high-rise residential buildings of four stories or more to use New Construction or Multifamily Midrise (Correction 100002128). The LEED v4 O+M MR Credit Purchasing—Facility Maintenance and Renovation, as well as the LEED v4 BD+C and ID+C MR Credit Building Product Disclosure and Optimization—Material Ingredients, were updated to include supply chain guidance.
