Study more efficiently for the LEED Green Associate exam with our new two-week study plan.

The LEED Green Associate is your gateway to green, and it demonstrates an up-to-date understanding of green building principles and practices. We’ve created this credential for everyone—so you don’t need previous LEED® project experience to be eligible for the exam.

At USGBC®, we want to do everything we can to help you become a LEED professional. One way we're here to support you is through LEED exam prep. Last month, we shared resources to study for the LEED Green Associate Exam, and today we have even more information to help you prepare.

By the way, did you know that there is no longer an age requirement for the exam? Also, students now have the opportunity to register for the LEED Green Associate exam at a reduced cost of $100. Learn more.

LEED Green Associate exam: Two-week study plan

We’ve put together a LEED Green Associate exam study plan that breaks down exactly what material to study each day, by providing step-by-step guidance to get you test-ready in just two weeks. Plan to take 3–5 hours to study each day, depending on your own pace. View the syllabus to learn more about what to expect. In addition to free resources, you'll need to purchase the Study Bundle: LEED Green Associate Exam Preparation Guide, LEED v4 Edition and LEED Core Concepts Guide.
