USGBC’s technical customer service team has won a Gold Stevie Award in the 12th Annual International Business Awards for Customer Service Team of the Year.

The International Business Awards (IBAs) are the world’s premier business awards program. All individuals and organizations worldwide—public and private, for-profit and nonprofit, large and small—are eligible to submit nominations. The 2015 IBAs received entries from more than 60 nations and territories.

This award recognizes the LEED Coach program and team—architects, engineers, building scientists and sustainable development experts—that works day in and day out to support their colleagues around the world in implementing LEED successfully. Transforming the market is challenging, but LEED Coaches strive to help sustainability professionals meet and exceed their goals for designing, creating and sustaining healthy, efficient, beautiful places.

Together, the LEED Coach program and team is bringing over 200 years of LEED project experience to help project teams navigate the technical complexities of LEED to build and operate the world’s most sustainable buildings. Thanks to the LEED Coach program, customers are certifying their projects faster with higher certification levels and appreciate this streamlined customer service support.

Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 200 executives worldwide who participated in the judging process from May through early August 2015. The awards will be presented to winners at a gala awards banquet at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Toronto, Canada, on October 23.
