USGBC Colorado has four branches throughout the state. These branches help facilitate local events, gather stakeholders and work on region-specific issues. Each branch has a steering committee that meets monthly to plan education events. There is always room for more volunteers, and plenty of opportunities for people to get involved!

Northern Branch

USGBC Colorado’s Northern Branch covers the northern region of Colorado. The branch committee comprises northern Colorado green building industry volunteers and hosts their committee meetings in Fort Collins.

This committee develops and coordinates educational and networking events for the northern community. These educational events range from tours to lunch-and-learns to workshops. 

  • Current chair: Cindy Angell, Buffalo Lock and Key
  • This branch committee meets the second Monday of every month from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Southern Branch

USGBC Colorado’s Southern Branch covers the southern region of Colorado. The branch committee comprises southern Colorado’s green building industry volunteers and hosts their committee meetings in Colorado Springs.

This committee develops and coordinates educational and networking events for the northern community. These educational events range from tours to lunch-and-learns to workshops. 

  • Current chair: Kevin Gilford, UCCS
  • This branch committee meets the third Thursday of every month from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Mountain Time

Metropolitan Branch

USGBC Colorado’s Metropolitan Branch covers the Denver Metro region of Colorado. This region includes Denver, Aurora, Lakewood and Boulder. The branch committee comprises the Denver region’s green building industry volunteers and hosts their committee meetings in Lakewood.

This committee develops and coordinates educational and networking events for the Denver region community. These educational events range from tours to lunch-and-learns to workshops.

Roaring Fork Branch

USGBC Colorado’s Roaring Fork Branch covers the mountain region of Colorado. This branch reaches the surrounding areas of Aspen, Basalt, Durango and Grand Junction, just to name a few. The branch committee comprises the region’s green building industry volunteers and hosts their committee meetings in Basalt.

This committee develops and coordinates educational and networking events for the mountain region community. These educational events range from tours to lunch-and-learns to workshops.
