According to the Idaho Business Review, hundreds of Idaho go-getters were nominated for the 2017 Accomplished Under 40 awards program, and more than 100 people applied for one of this year’s 40 spots. The task of selecting the top 40 went to 11 review committees. The review committees were formed from past honorees, and each committee included at least three and up to four members.
Among the recipients was Scott Hopkins, Chair of USGBC Idaho’s Market Leadership Advisory Board. Scott has served on the board since 2014 and transitioned from Treasurer to Chair in 2016. Scott’s dedication and service to USGBC Idaho is complemented by his firm’s commitment to green building. CSHQA’s Boise office is an excellent example of adaptive building reuse. Now known as 2B, the 60-year-building was originally designed as a railway warehouse. The building was the focus of a major renovation project in 2013 and received LEED Platinum certification in 2015.
