These six member companies, which have demonstrated profound leadership in energy efficiency, received awards from the Alliance to Save Energy.

On September 26, nearly 400 energy efficiency leaders convened at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington, D.C., to honor some of the greatest innovators in the industry. Hosted annually by the Alliance to Save Energy, the "Evening with the Stars of Energy Efficiency" awards gala recognizes companies, organizations and individuals who have demonstrated profound leadership in energy efficiency in the following sectors: built environment, transportation, power generation/supply, and industry/manufacturing.

USGBC President and CEO Mahesh Ramanujam joined a group of esteemed speakers, including Senator Amy Klobuchar, Senator Jeanne Shaheen and Congressman Paul Tonko, to recognize the 2018 Stars of Energy Efficiency. This year’s award winners included six USGBC member companies:
