The grand opening of the net zero, LEED Platinum center will be in April 2018.

The grand opening of the William Jefferson Clinton Children's Center, otherwise known as Project Haiti, will take place in April 2018 in Port au Prince.

When the earthquake in Haiti in 2010 left hundreds of thousands of children in need of care, the need for a healthy, resilient children's center was obvious. Through the combined efforts of USGBC, the Fondation Enfant Jesus, the Clinton Foundation and many other partners, construction has been under way to build a LEED Platinum orphanage that can also serve as a community resource in times of emergency.
