RMG attendees and Denver locals: Take part in the Women in Green breakfast, and share your voice.

On April 12, women leaders in sustainability will convene in Denver at Rocky Mountain Green.

The 2019 USGBC Women in Green Power Breakfast is open to all, not just those registered for the full conference. The platform theme, "Culture of Courage," celebrates the crucially needed and deliberate voice that women bring to society and to the green building movement.

When: Friday, April 12, 8:30–10:30 a.m.
Where: Embassy Suites by Hilton Denver Downtown

Today, women leaders are standing for a Culture of Courage more powerful than ever before. Women aren’t begging to be heard, or even demanding it, but simply expecting it. This deliberate expectation overshadows fear; women are speaking up, bringing attention to injustice, supporting each other and not taking “no” or “not right now” for an answer.

This Women in Green event will feature an expert panel of prominent and influential voices from the Mountain Region:

  • Melissa Baldridge, Vice President of Sustainability, Greenspot Global
  • Amanda Poindexter, Owner, Full Circle Construction Services
  • Blair Bui, Founder, Deep Green Development Group
  • Rachel Bannon-Godfrey, Global Sustainability Discipline Leader, Stantec Buildings.

USGBC's Kimberly Lewis, Senior Vice President, Market Transformation and Development, North America, will moderate the discussion.

Since 2012, Women in Green, an interactive event that features discussions on the topics facing women around the world, has been stirring up a global conversation around the power of women to advance sustainable development and the critical need for women to continue to lead across industries.

We hope you can join us, and share with us what a Culture of Courage means to you.
