USGBC Georgia is working to make healthy, sustainable buildings a reality for the people of Georgia within a generation. We serve Athens, Atlanta, Augusta, Central Georgia (Macon area) and Savannah. Each branch has a leadership group (BLG) elected from the region's membership; and each branch sends representation to the USGBC Georgia Market Leadership Advisory Board.

Our diverse membership comprises builders, architects, environmentalists and nonprofits, each providing a wealth of knowledge and industry access at every level. Atlanta, Georgia is excited to host Greenbuild this year and engage everyone in the conversation about a New Living Standard.

As part of a large network helping advance sustainable places to live and work nationwide, we help fulfill USGBC’s mission in Georgia by providing education and opportunities to volunteer and network through our branches. USGBC Georgia created the CHRYSALIS AWARDS to support broadening the conversation between the green building industry and our green community. Our goal is to support and recognize the PEOPLE and PROJECTS within our community that represent the breadth of what sustainability means.

Make a donation to help us raise the living standard in communities everywhere

Despite the great uncertainty of the weeks and months ahead, as an organization USGBC must keep moving forward and be the embodiment of resiliency. As the leading voice on green building, we are working every day on behalf of our community of builders, educators and sustainability professionals. The contributions made by our USGBC community over the past 26 years have helped further the green building marketplace and our mission greatly. Your gift will help support what matters most within our buildings: people. Our focus must be on people because the standards we are most committed to raising is that of the quality of life itself—for every member of this community, and in populations spanning every corner of the planet.
