About

This panel will feature discussions about the key environmental/development plans that are currently being implemented for the region. It will explore ways to create bridges among the plans and the responsible officials that ensure a more integrated and fluid system of resilience for our region. This panel will highlight important aspects of the plans including key players and communication of change to their constituents.

Objectives

  1. Understand the components of sustainable urban and environmental plans being implemented in the our region.
  2. Evaluate the key connections between decision makers across government offices and areas of responsibility to encourage cooperation and coordination.
  3. Understand what sustainable practice are being incorporated in New Orleans city planning.
  4. Engage attendees in a conversation to align city planning with environmental concerns and and foster meaning communication between all city industry sectors.
