This tour will feature stops at local community organizations and engage leaders openly regarding their role in the community, their sustainable programming, and their impact on the Greater New Orleans area.

Objectives

  1. Understand the role of these community organizations and how they are contributing to the area's resilience.
  2. Analyze how energy efficiency solutions contribute to resilience and sustainability.
  3. Be able to communicate the opportunities these non-profits provide for individuals in the community to learn how to become more sustainability citizens.
  4. Learn how non-profits can support each other's missions through smart collaboration and integrated projects.
