Achieving LEED ND certification takes a serious commitment from project team members and owners. ND projects can span several years and require infrastructure changes that transform communities and bring together diverse groups of stakeholders. Lamar Station Crossing is the product of an effort spearheaded by Metro West Housing Solutions. This workshop takes attendees on a walking tour of the key buildings and improvements that make up the LEED ND Silver project.

  1. Identify project characteristics that lead to high certification levels under LEED NC and LEED ND
  2. Describe how an affordable housing developer can work within the restrictions of rent limitations and regulatory limitations to achieve high levels of project performance
  3. List the technical details of dual LEED certification from the perspectives of the LEED project administrator and the developer
  4. Explain LEED ND minimum program requirements
