About

The Parksmart Certification Standard is a package of 48 measures which serve to minimize the negative environmental impact of a parking facility and to enhance the structure’s positive environmental contribution. Parksmart awards points to parking structures for sustainability achievements in garage management, programming, design and technology. The course will provide an introduction of the intent, sections, and selected measures of the Parksmart Certification Standard. The Parksmart Certification Standard is used in conjunction with the Guide to Parksmart Certification. Both the Parksmart Certification Standard and the Guide to Parksmart Certification are explored in this course.
