About

The fundamental of green building design is to respond to the climate and sun. A good handle over the psychrometric chart and the sun path diagram is essential to design green buildings. Psychrometric charts are commonly used by engineers for designing air conditioning systems. But it has great potential to be used as a design tool beyond the engineering concepts. Climate variables are better understood if there is clarity on the core concepts of psychrometry.

The course is organized in two modules. The first module explains the fundamentals of psychrometry. The second module enumerates how it can be correlated with climate variables and further to be used a passive design tool. There are many exercises in this course which makes it very interesting and interactive.

Note: After viewing the videos, click "TAKE THE QUIZ" to complete the quiz and earn CE hours for this course. The quiz will appear in English. Under "Additional Resources" a version of the quiz in Bangla is available for your reference.
