Progressive cities are taking building automation out of the building and applying it across their infrastructure of outdoor lighting, cameras and pumping stations. This course presents the latest advances in smart city technology, its proper application and the importance of interoperability. The role of traditional building automation systems in the smart city is discussed. See how San Diego became the first city in the US to deploy a smart wireless lighting network equipped with sensors and software to compile data for real-time analysis and its plans to take the smart city to a whole new level.
