UNMC and Nebraska Medical have set aggressive sustainability goals for the coming years, including net zero emissions, waste, and water by 2030. Join us to learn more about the steps they are taking to put these goals into action in a high need field, followed by a tour of their new Central Utility Plant, which includes a super-efficient chiller with eco-coolant and a flue gas economizer. Learn about the challenges and opportunities when it comes to greening and healthcare.

  2. • Discover the changes being asked of A&E firms and contractors in order to help achieve these goals
  3. • Learn how net zero goals will impact the marketplace and community
  4. • discuss the new energy-efficient equipment in the Central Utility Plant, leading the way in achieving sustainability goals on campus
