A Zero Waste Super Bowl and The First LEED v4.1 O+M Platinum Sports Stadium - Sustainability at U.S. Bank Stadium
Upon achieving LEED Gold certification under LEED BD+C: New Construction, U.S. Bank Stadium implemented an aggressive waste reduction program, culminating in a successful "Zero Waste" Super Bowl in 2018. The stadium then became the first professional sports stadium to achieve LEED Platinum certification using LEED v4.1 O+M and Arc.
